Mortar Tubes and Racks
HDPE plastic Mortar tubes are available in 2.5”,3”, 4”, 5”, 6”, and 8” sizes. All tubes are plugged with kiln dried wood plugs fastened with coated, no-rust screws. Fiberglass tubes are available in 1.75”, 2.5”, 4” and 6” only.
All racks (except 1.75” and 8”) are the same 48” width so they can be combined in the same firing position. All racks use coated, no-rust screws; 5” and larger rack frames are also glued for added strength. Each tube is screwed to the rack frame with an additional screw.
