FAQ’s
1.  Why should I consider fireworks entertainment for my event?
Fireworks make almost every event more special, more uncommon – and far more memorable.  It’s been our experience that it’s wise not to wait until the end of your event to begin the fireworks because afterwards, the audience is so thrilled that it takes your event to a whole new level of excitement.  For public events with large audiences, it is one of the lowest cost and most loved forms of entertainment.

2.  Why Hire Celebration Fireworks Inc?
Computer choreographed displays are dramatically superior - in every way - to old fashioned displays where fireworks are manually fired by human hand.  And Celebration Fireworks is an expert in the design and production of computerized displays – producing 100% of our displays this way, from the day we began in 2001.  We may not be the oldest company offering this high quality approach, but we are one of the BEST!

3.  Should I consider a pyromusical or traditional display?
Your audience will always love a pyromusical more – it’s a very uncommon form of entertainment that most people almost never get to witness.  It will cost more due to the extra work and time we need to produce the soundtrack and synchronize the fireworks to it using specialized design software.  As sponsor, you will also need to provide a high quality sound system capable of enough volume to overcome the sound of the fireworks.  But the result will be wildly beyond the audience’s expectations!  Our traditional displays are also of much higher quality than manually-controlled displays.  They are choreographed and computer-controlled, but are not synchronized to music.  We delight hundreds of thousands of people each year with traditional displays.

4.  What does it all cost?
Our minimum display budget for a traditional display begins at $3,800 for 2009.  Pyromusicals begin at $5,700.  We also design and produce world-class displays beginning at $30,000 and higher.  Many factors affect our budget objective – time duration, distance to the audience, traditional vs. pyromusical, etc.  Generally we will be competitive with any other display company (even though most offer only old fashioned hand-fired displays), yet a Celebration Fireworks display will be of much higher quality and splendour  If you have any doubt, please click on the link to What Our Customers Have to Say.

5.  Are there other costs?
Often yes, but these are generally small.  Our design and production fee is complete – nothing extra – except the cost of the local, required display permit and a small fee for the local fire company who will provide a required standby vehicle for fire safety.

6.  How much open area do I need to provide for an outdoor fireworks display?
A fairly large open space (empty of houses, buildings, parked cars, roads, etc.) is required for outdoor aerial displays.  Roughly, a minimum 400-foot diameter fallout zone is required, and for larger displays this size can grow to 2000 feet or more.  If your open space is small, it may be possible to provide a display using close proximity devices.  We will always visit and diagram the physical setting in order to provide the best possible display design.

7.  Do I need a display permit / local approval?
Yes.  You should first contact your local government (fire marshal’s office or zoning dept.) to begin the process.  As a part of our service, we will assist as needed.  We supply your local authority with various documents needed to obtain the permit.  Permit fees run from $0 to generally under $400 maximum.

8.  Is insurance needed?
Yes, Celebration Fireworks provides comprehensive liability, transportation and workman’s compensation insurance.  Other parties can be named as “additional insureds” on our policy.

9.  What about the weather and possible cancellation?
You will want to plan for a rain-date if at all possible, and we can write this into your contract.  Very high wind can also force a postponement.  Generally some rain / snow does not prevent us from going forward.  We can and do completely weather-protect every element of the display.
