About the Event

THUNDER IN THE POCONOS is a ground breaking, earth shattering event fueled by all things pyro. For the first time ever virtually anyone, from Pros to Joes, can light the fuse on professional fireworks.  All ticket holders (age 18+) will have the opportunity to purchase and fire professional fireworks including:

  • Shells up to 8" 

  • A large variety of mesmerizing display cakes

  • 4", 6" and 12" fireballs along with fireball packages - see packages tab at the top menu for more details

  • Ground pounding salutes

  • A large selection of pyrotechnic display devices

All standard price list items are currently available for pre-order at a 10% discount (excluding packages) by clicking HERE!

All devices will be fired under the license of Celebration Fireworks. There is no transfer of ownership, since all ATF regulated devices will be setup and fired the day of the event. All guests attending the event will be required to sign a liability waiver. 

 

Other Activities Include

  • A chance to win pyro prizes at our "Mortar Toss" game tent

  • A variety of food and refreshing non-alcoholic beverages for purchase at our food tent

  • A great mix of music throughout the day

  • We will finish the night off with an intense mind blowing finale - ear plugs will be provided!

 

 

Educational Tent

If you want to take a break from blowing stuff up, THUNDER will be offering various courses to help you hone your craft.

TYPE 54 WORKSHOP: Dave Stoddard, President of MAPAG, will lead a workshop on how to obtain an ATF type 54 permit.

Other topics will include:

 

  • Pyromusical design - Chris Hopkins, Creative Director for Celebration Fireworks

  • Starfire and Cobra firing systems - Scott Hopkins, Celebration Fireworks

  • Shell anatomy and repair - Instructor TBA

Admission

All ticket purchases are non-refundable. Thunder in the Poconos will happen rain or shine except when overridden by concerns for public safety or if the government imposes an order to stop all outdoor gatherings due to COVID-19.
